Testimonial from 2009
We would like to express our gratitude for making our father-son dream golf vacation a reality. Everything went smoothly and Matt had absolutely no difficulty adapting to driving on the left side of the road from the right side of the car. Dell and Maria were wonderful hosts and their Doune House filled our needs perfectly. The golf courses were, as you well know, just spectacular and the weather was about as co-operative as we could have hoped. Our final day in Turnberry was nothing short of spectacular.
None of that would have been possible without your efforts. We felt no anxieties since you so efficiently answered every one of our needs. It's nice to have a personal security blanket when travelling far from home and you surely provided that security. We can't thank you enough for your capable, efficient, courteous and personable assistance. We'll not consider coming to Scotland again without you and all our friends contemplating such a wonderful holiday will get from us your contact information with our strongest possible endorsement.
You have our deepest thanks. We wish you and Fiona continued good fortune, health and happiness.

The trip : all was perfect, timing, airport reception, guesthouse, taxis, golf clubs welcome, and we were very lucky with weather!
Royal Troon is magic and our legs tremble on the first tee. The old course is imposing and we remember the great players came on this place.
Prestwick: I love it: authenticity, historic and simplicity. Machrihanish: a lovely day. All the organisation was absolutely perfect. A true links.
Western Gailes: A great links, very regular in its quality. No hidden traps.
I can't finish without speak about municipal Troon courses. We must come in your land to see that and understand golf spirit. Simply welcome and play. Fabulous. In all the clubhouses we received warm welcome.
About your organisation, I confess I was a little be afraid before trip, cause all was prepared with mails and I didn't know you. Today, I thank you for all. This golf trip was surely the best we did since we started to play at this game. Impossible not to speak about Elaine and her guesthouse at Sandhill House in Troon, a marvellous week, we were like at home. And now? next year? we hope we'll come back and east coast. My friends ask me to know if it's possible to play on St Andrew Old Course ? Anyway I'll try to organise with you a new trip for us. There are so many beautiful golf courses in Scotland.
Testimonial: Une semaine de golf magique, une organisation parfaite et partout un accueil chaleureux. Je remercie très sincerement Peter qui a permis de transfomer une semaine de golf en un moment inoubliable.

Thank you very much we had a great holiday and really enjoyed ourselves. The most enjoyable part of the holiday was everything. We had a really nice relaxing time and the golf was great. The only part we didn't enjoy was having to go home. I enjoyed the old course experience as an overall package however the best course I felt was Kingsbarns. The views and the setting was just stunning. The information pack was helpful and the accommodation was great. We will recommend you service to others as we felt it was great and we will use you again in the future.

I had a great time in Scotland and you and your team made this a very special trip for our group. The rooms at the hotel were the best I have stayed in while in Scotland and the staff, food and drinks were top notch. The golf was good and we appreciate you ordering up great weather for us. I will never forget the match where my partner Sam and I put a pretty good thrashing on our able opponents (Dick and Peter in case you forgot) and it was the best round of golf I played in a very long time. Ian Stothard did another great job on the whisky tasting and was a lot of fun. George was a pleasure to be with and we considered him part of our group. George took care of our every need. Peter and Fiona thanks for everything.
Bobby Evans Louisiana, USA - 2009
Peter, the trip was absolutely wonderful. The hotel, the golf accommodations and all details of the trip were flawlessly handled. Special highlights for me were the whisky dinner with you, Fiona and Ian, the lesson with Jim Farmer, and dinner with Campbell Savage and our driver, George. This is a must trip for anyone who seriously loves golf and its history. Thank you and your team for creating a very special memory.
Fred Fowler USA - 2009
The trip to Scotland was great. Everything was seem less including the last minute changes we put you guys through. Campbell was very gracious and we enjoyed having dinner with him. Loved the golf, loved the hotel and really enjoyed the whisky dinner with you Fiona and Ian Stothard. I would give special kudos to George. He was prompt, courteous, and above all, a lot of fun. He made a big difference in the overall experience. I am not sure you are aware, but on the next to last day my golf shoes fell apart on the heel. George took us to lunch and when he picked us up the shoes were fixed. Must have a lot of local knowledge and connections. All in all, a most memorable experience and I thank you both for that.
Lon Mitchell, USA - 2009
I especially liked that the schedule was somewhat flexible. I loved Carnoustie course and the setting. The whisky dinner was enjoyable and entertaining and Ian Stothard is very knowledgable. The Jim Farmer links golf clinic was wonderful and I learned a lot. The Old Course Hotel was very nice and it had great service. I liked that it was within walking distance of town and the Cathedral. The food everywhere was very nice from the nicer restaurants to the pubs. Alistair was a great driver. I learned a lot during some conversations we had in the mornings. I was impressed with the service and that Peter and Fiona attended a few of the events.Chad Ibella AZ, USA
The professional and timely direction of Morton Golf and their staff really made this trip to Scotland! Carnoustie was awesome and it was neat to see were Van De Velde blew it. Ian Stothard at the whisky dinner gave great information and insight. Jim Farmer for me personally it was the highlight of the trip. He is a cool dude and taught me really wonderful and applicable new habits. The Old Course Hotel was very nice and way better than five years ago when I stayed at the hotel. The Craigellachie Hotel was neat due to the fact that it was different and had a great Scotch collection. The Dakota Hotel was really new age! Very nice! Alistair – what a driver : I love that guy!
Bob Sabbe, AZ, USA - 2009
I liked the golf, the B&B, our experiences with George, all were excellent. Very close tie between The Old Course and Kingsbarns. Two very different courses, both of which are tremendous. I cannot say enough about the hospitality at Doune House. Maria and Dell are fabulous hosts and I intend to write them to say so. Very much ditto for George and his vehicle. I had some misgivings about this arrangement before arriving, probably because of lack of experience with this mode of transportation. I would not do it any other way in the future with a similar group. George was thoroughly professional and always punctual. More than that, though, he was personable and we got the feeling he was genuinely interested in seeing to it that we had a good time. Our visit to the club making facility, which was his idea entirely, was excellent. I honestly feel I made a new friend in Scotland and sincerely hope to see him again in the future. The information pack was thorough and professional and contained all the data we needed. I would not consider using any other service in arranging golf in Scotland other than Morton Golf. I will be, and have been, only too happy to refer your organization to other golfers. In closing, Peter, let me say how much I appreciate your efforts. Without them our visit would not have been the success that it was. Many thanks.
Jim Shippen USA - 2009
The best part of the trip was, of course, the golf. The only course we did not like was the Castle. Everything else was great. George was terrific. We really enjoyed him and he did a superb job. Favorite course was the Old Course. Just being able to play it was terrific. We also liked Kingsbarns. The accommodations were fine. Maria and Dell were great hosts and the rooms were adequate. The information pack was fine and accurate. Morton Golf's overall service was, as usual, terrific. I have recommended you to at least six friends. You do it right. You do an outstanding job of setting up our trips. We wouldn't use anyone else. Its efficient, affordable, and fun. What more could we ask for. Thanks to you and Fiona for making our trip a great memory.
Rick Shippen USA - 2009
The quality and the value for money of the golf courses. The friendly and accommodating club houses was also just what we wanted. As you probably know, on their day off 14 party members played Stirling again and had a wonderful day. Stirling was good with the views and an interesting layout. Dunblane was in good shape. Everything was arranged; we just had to show up. Which is just what we wanted – no fuss. Very good. We certainly want to do it again – the question is where? We may well come back in 2010. We would be delighted to recommend the services of Morton Golf Holidays to other golfer – in fact the stories are already circulating.
Peter Ward Germany - 2009
Having the opportunity to play the golf courses that I wanted to play and getting to spend that time with my Father. I think Carnoustie but it's a tough call. I just really liked the layout of that course. I also liked the Old Course simply because of the history and the mystique. I also liked it because I broke par for the first time! If you could line up a record round for all your golfers, you would make a fortune. I loved all of the accommodations. The Aslar guest house was very nice. The Golf Inn was great. The Bank House in Dornoch was probably my favourite place of anywhere I have ever stayed. I just loved the renovation of the building and the owners were very nice people as well. I can't say enough good things about the transport. The van was clean and the perfect size. Alistair made all the difference. He made an excellent trip into a FANTASTIC trip. His sense of humour, service and knowledge of the areas to which we travelled to were amazing. I would never travel to Scotland again without a transport. I though the service was fantastic Peter. The fact that you were there to meet us was a very nice touch. From day one, your responses were always prompt and informative. You got me on every course that I wanted to play and set everything up perfectly. I had no worries sending you that kind of money having never talked to you on the phone. Although you had come recommended, I still would have had no worries at all if I had found you on my own.
Bryan Watterson, USA - 2009
I want to thank you very very much for making my first visit to Scotland so memorable. It was all I expected and more. Thank you for your friendship and kindness. If I am to return to Scotland, I will most definately only use your company.
I would especially like to thank George, your driver/tour guide. He is a true ambassador for your company and for Scotland. He really is one of the most interesting tour guides I have ever met and you are luck to have him as part of Morton Golf Holidays.
Best Regards, Elton Booyen South Africa - 2009
We had a great time. The weather and people were very kind to us. George did a fantastic job looking after us and didn't miss a beat with any of our arrangements. The courses were all very enjoyable and it was nice to play the Old Course in somewhat traditional conditions.
We mightn't be back next year, but the year after looks very likely.
Regards Peter Carlin Australia - 2009
Overall, my wife and I enjoyed Scotland, its beauty, greenery, people, Golf and its history. We loved the links course especially Prestwick, Royal Troon, Old Course, Carnoustie, New Course and Gleneagles, they were all simply too good to describe in words but a pleasure one will cherish to eternity. The Albany Hotel in St.Andrews had great hospitality and Home like feelings with sumptuous breakfasts. We enjoyed the face to face discussions we had with you and Fiona at diner in Scotts in Troon. You and your staff were outstanding, helpful and all the information we got was accurate and beneficial. We do like the personal touch that was evident in your services and makes days go by with lots of good memories and happy times.
Aarathi and Chan, India and California - 2009
The trip was awesome, just awesome. As you know, we had very high expectations, but these were far exceeded. Everything about the trip was perfect, including luckily the weather. The accommodation at the Aslar Guest House was great, Stan and Marty were very friendly, the breakfasts were outta this world and the rooms were superb. George was amazing – nothing was too much, we just had to ask and he would sort it out. He made our lives so easy and hassle free carting our stuff back and forth. He was always keen for a laugh, was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable, and somehow managed to always make us feel like kings.
The whisky tour was extremely interesting, and I'm glad we did it and the tour guide was first class. Finishing off our tour on the Old Course was just the cherry on the top – particularly as I played well on the day and ended up winning the tour! In summary, Carnoustie and the Old Course were our favourites, and I certainly wouldn't miss an opportunity of playing Kingsbarns again.
It looks like we'll be back next year, and this time it will be 8 of us ... do you think Scotland can handle it?
BEST regards Jonathan Dawkins South Africa - 2009
The golf courses, especially the Old Course were wonderful, the nature and the wonderful promenades. The atmosphere, the nice caddies and good scores. Doune House in St Andrews provided good accommodation with excellent breakfasts. The Information Pack was excellent. Morton Golf Holidays overall service was very good and it was nice to meet you Peter. I think I will come back to Scotland in 2011.

Katy and I just want to thank you for all your efforts in securing the services of Allan. We had such a wonderful time! Ireland was gorgeous, and the weather held up for us. The van worked out wonderfully for us. It gave us peace of mind to know that he didn't have to worry about transportation. Allan was extremely kind, accommodating, and helpful; in fact, without his assistance we would have never made it to the top of the Cliffs of Moher. Katy and I will certainly be calling on your services when we journey over to Scotland in the next year or two. Thank you for everything! We will never forget our wonderful honeymoon in Ireland!
Many thanks, R. Bryan Evans, Jr. Houston, Texas
We arrived home safely and without incident and are settling back in now to the daily grind, albeit more refreshed and with many wonderful memories and stories to tell.
I'd first like to share (and I feel comfortable speaking for our entire group) that this was an incredible trip on so many levels. For anyone who considers himself (or herself) in the least bit a golfer, to be able to play the venues that we experienced is a dream come true, and to be able to share it with close friends of more than 30 years made it even that much more special. That said, your assistance, professionalism, and responsiveness in putting this trip together, and stepping in when mid course corrections were necessary, made the experience that much more enjoyable. We particularly enjoyed our dinner and time spent with you and Fiona, getting to know you both on a more personal level. That was a wonderful evening that will be fondly remembered and was a perfect start to our trip. And thank you again for your very thoughtful birthday present!
Both George and Alistair added greatly to our overall experience. Aside from just providing the service that you might expect like being on time with reliable transportation when we needed it, they quickly became more like our travel companions, freely sharing a wealth of information about the areas we were visiting and anticipating any needs or assistance that we required, often before we thought about it ourselves (e.g., George taking our rain gear home to hang out and dry after a round, and Alistair ready with a cold beer in the van after we finished a long 36 at Troon). They're both really nice, caring people and a pleasure to be with.

Thanks for checking in. We had a tremendous trip! Alan was professional, efficient, friendly and helpful. The courses were spectacular, challenging and fun. Weather was much better than we had expected. Lodging was very comfortable and accommodating. All in all, we couldn't have asked for anything better. There are many wonderful memories which we will look back on for years to come.
I will forward this email to the rest of the group and ask for comments to be sent directly to you.
Thank you for all your hard work and assistance in planning our trip. We look forward to working with you again in the future.

We would like to say to you that everything was perfect, organization, transportation, tee times, accommodation but above all we met lots of friendly people in Scotland. Barbara realised her lifelong dream to get a par at the 18 th hole of the Old Course. I would like to ask you if there is possibility to have another round on the Old Course next year and I and Barbara would like to play there and spend part of trip in the north of Scotland. Morton Golf Holidays have been given a very good reference in my golf club because your company is so professional in arranging our trip to Scotland. We are delighted to come back to Scotland in 2010 which will be the third year in a row your will have been our tour company and you have made everything very easy for us.
Ciao Fulvio and Barbara Grasso Italy
Overall, this is a golf trip of our lifetime. All of us had a great time there; playing golf at super venues, drinking lots of Scotch whisky, meeting nice friendly people, visiting interesting towns and touring beautiful landscapes. It was an experience that we will talk about for a long time.
Aslar Guest House was fantastic! Stan and Mary were great host and fantastic cooks. We had very nice sit down breakfast every morning, tried local Scottish foods. It was a five stars breakfast experience. I would love to stay there again if we make a trip back to St. Andrews.
Links golf courses are different that they can be easy and difficult at the same time depending on our shots ... It was an incredible golf experience. The most beautiful golf course is Kingsbarns but we love the Old Course the most. I would want to play the Old Course again now that I know I am allowed to take aim at the Old Course Hotel ... The whole incredible experience capped off with The Open and witnessed Tom Watson ALMOST make history.
We really appreciated Nan and your help with additional tee times for us and provided us flexibility. Your information pack was very helpful.

Testimonials from 2008
I thought the overall service was excellent. From the first contact we had, Peter made sure that he understood exactly what were the needs and wishes of our group. This was our twentieth golf trip and over the years we have definitely established unique wants and needs. With Peter's initial understanding of what we wanted and various subsequent communications he was able to come up with an itinerary of golf courses, accomodations, transportation, and other activities that fully met our unique high expectations. Peter was most willing to be flexible in determining our itinerary to make sure that it provided us with what he thought would be the best Scottish golf experience for our group and at the same time accomodate our unique needs. Peter and Fiona were very cooperative from beginning to end. After we arrived in Scotland, we were met by Alistair, our chauffeur, who did an outstanding job in providing excellent transportation as well as outstanding tour guide services. Peter was always available at the end of his phone if we needed any additional help. I would highly recommend Morton Golf Holidays.

Overall service of Morton Golf was excellent. I thought Peter and Fiona joining us for dinner was a classy and personalized touch. The whole trip was great..a wonderful experience and one that will be remembered forever. Would certainly recommend your services and Company to any of my friends.

Peter and his team at Morton Golf Holidays organised and delivered a Scottish golf tour package that met our requirements "to a tee" - and provided it for a very good price. The combination of exceptional customer service, Scottish hospitality and fantastic, historic golf courses together with value-for-money made this a memorable trip. I recommend Morton Golf Holidays unreservedly. All the best,

We had a fantastic time on our Scotland trip.We enjoyed the golf the most. We played the top 5 of your top ten list plus the New Course. It can"t get much better than that. Our favorite course was the Old Course because of its history & tradition. We also loved Kingsbarns ( I eagled # 6) Our accommodations were wonderful Transportation services were out of this world. Alistair Thomas & George Malcolm were both superlative- they both went out of their way to be helpful.. In fact we doubt anyone could have done a better job than Morton Golf Holidays. We enjoyed meeting you and we all were totally happy with your service. We would recommend your services to anyone. We had had Quotes from 3 different golf travel agencies before you were recommended to us by Fred Dawson and your fees were less than any of the others- BETTER & CHEAPER ! so why not go with Morton Golf? We would all like to return to Scotland next week but realistically it will probably be several years but when we do return it will be with your agency! Thank you so much for helping us to have the trip of our lives. Our most cordial regards to you, Fiona, Alistair & George.
Harry Altman Group, USA - 2008
Morton Golf Holidays were the best solution to have a rewarding and stress free Scottish golfing experience. The fact that we were not forced into a specific itinerary and we could adjust our plans to the extent that we did was brilliant. It never felt as if anything was too much effort for George or Peter, and it allowed us to explore and do what we wanted. George was kind enough to stop at a motor dealer for us to check out the pre-owned British Sports cars that were for sale at a dealership next to the road on the way back to St Andrews.
Ben Bierman South Africa - 2008
Dear Peter,
The trip was fabulous and given the extreme short notice, you did a fantastic job. Thank you. Obviously what we liked most about our trip was playing golf on marvelous golf courses steeped in history. There was nothing that we didn't like. It is impossible to name our favourite course, because we loved them all. I think the caddies made a big difference. If they were good, which in most cases they were, they were a big help.. The overall service of Morton Golf Holidays was superb and we'd highly recommend your company to anyone planning a golf holiday to Scotland. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Morton Golf Holidays to anyone planning a golfing trip to Scotland. The job they did for us was superb. The whole trip just ran like clockwork. We played fabulous courses and all we had to do was arrive at our appointed tee time with the confidence that everything had been looked after by Morton Golf Holidays.
Ian and Janice Gordon.Canada - 2008
If you're going to do a golf tour of Scotland, Morton Golf is as good as it gets. They handled everything beautifully. We missed our connecting flight due to a delay and were worried about the car company showing up or having to forfeit our first tee time at Turnberry. One call to Peter and Fiona fixed everything. The car company representative was waiting for us when we arrived and we teed off later that afternoon with no problems. From then on we were off and running; golfing both coasts and experiencing everything from historic Open Championship links like St. Andrews and Carnoustie to more modern challenges like Dundonald and Kingsbarns. Everything exceeded our expectations and Peter even stopped by to send us off on the Old Course. We'll definitely be back to Scotland and we'll gladly choose Morton Golf to handle our next trip.
Doug Houser USA - 2008
"For our first trip to Scotland, Morton Golf provided sage counsel, highly personal service, and they did an excellent job of working within our schedule and budget. Peter is a real pro and it was a pleasure and comfort to have him on our travel planning team."
Kevin Huestis Canada - 2008
It has been three months since our return from St Andrews. We have made best efforts not to think about the trip too often since then, but we have failed miserably. On behalf of our four ball I thus write to say thank you. Thanks for spoiling all golf tours in future for us as we are sure never to be able to repeat the brilliant time we had with you,
Fiona and George in St Andrews. - 2008
We pride ourselves on being true golf tourists. We travel regularly to taste the fruits of new courses, be it in our own sunny South Africa (with the rain pouring down as I write), the Indian Ocean islands, the Far East, UK – we like to get around. We thus had great expectations when we started planning our pilgrimage to the Home of Golf. However, as with many great build-ups in life, there was always the niggling seed of doubt that we will be disappointed when we eventually get there. The locals may not be friendly enough, the beer too warm, the Old Course not old enough. But our fears were never realized. We were treated like royalty by you and everyone else we ran into in St Andrews. The magic old town played the role of a real life character on our trip, charming us with her beauty and mystery. The Old Course was phenomenal, more picturesque than what she appears on screen, and even more fun to play than to watch the pro's show their skills. There was really nothing you could do about the beer, but the whisky made up for it tenfold!
Being driven around by George was a treat on its own. We will definitely make use of the driver option over self-drive next time as well. It was such a pleasure to have a sharp-witted, extremely funny, knowledgeable local like George showing us around. It is impossible to put a value on the enjoyment value George added to our trip. No request was too much trouble, even where it was to accompany us to a (very lively) pub in Edinburgh in the wee ours of the morning! We unreservedly recommend using George as a driver to anyone considering spending time in St Andrews or Edinburgh. He is worth his weight in haggis (the expensive version!). Thanks for arranging him for us.
When we initially planned the trip, we all thought it would be one of those trips that you tick off your to do list and then move on. How embarrassingly naïve we were. Scotland charmed us whilst St Andrews downright seduced us. We are helpless victims to their charms and now spend our lives devising schemes to get us back there as soon as possible. We will drop you a mail before we board the next flight.
Johan Botes South Africa - 2008
Our group of six friends had a great golf trip to Scotland, St. Andrews. This made our golfing dream come true to play on the St. Andrews Old Course. The trip was very well organized by Peter and Fiona and everything went exactly by the plan. We had for sure several advantages to plan our trip through them – no worries about the course reservations, accommodation, local rules, etc. Everything was close by and very comfortable. Thank you Peter for the nice rounds of golf and good golfing tips too (they work for sure – result show it already J )!
Terje Pällo Estonia - 2008
Scotland golf is like no other place on earth. REAL Links Golf, warm people, unpredictable weather, all making for a most enjoyable trip. If you even think of a trip like this I would suggest that you look for someone like Morton Golf Holidays that has experience and is pro-active in meeting any needs or addressing any situation. With the exception of the Old Course at St Andrews, golf in Scotland is not playing about big name courses. It's rather looking for the off-the-track gems, like Nairn, Royal Dornoch and Kilspindie that has been in place for 130+ years, taken as-is from the rolling links terrain of Scotland ... Werner Lindemann Switzeland
The ultimate pleasure to travel with Alistair to all the courses and listen to his “history” lessons. It was a real pleasure and he made everyone feel very welcome to his country. He is a tremendous asset. Morton's Overall Service- First Class, I am glad to have finally met you after (2) years. You have a great reputation and your attention to detail is second to none. Thank you very much

Morton Golf Holidays' transport was provided by Alistair Thomas who is one of the finest service providers I've encountered. He was organized; hard working; informative about the courses, the local pubs/restaurants and Scotland sights and history; His vehicle was well kept and he maintained the perfect mix of humor, insight and control of our group. He absolutely added to our experience; he was much more than transportation. Morton Golf Holidays : I was very pleased with the services provided by you and look forward to referring everyone I know to you. You should expect calls from friends/Valley Brook members in the near future.
Louis Oliva USA - 2008
Morton Golf went above and beyond every expectation to ensure we had the golf trip of a lifetime. Peter Craigon was quick to respond to every question we had and got us tee times on some of golf's most historic venues like Carnoustie and the Old Course and others that can certainly hold their own like Dundonald and Kingsbarns. I can't wait to go back and will make contacting Morton Golf my first step when I do.
Craig Ostovitz USA - 2008
We had a wonderful trip, and a large part of our enjoyment was quite definitely due to your organization. I can't imagine being able to undertake all of the details such as tee-times, accommodation etc from Canada, and it was really nice not to have to worry about anything during the trip, knowing everything was taken care of. The rental car was very nice, and the satnav was indispensable, even though I usually had a rough idea where I was going. I imagine that a group who had never been to Scotland, would find it even more useful. We were also very impressed and grateful for the efficient way you solved our little problem with car, and on a Sunday to boot! The golf courses were wonderful (although the golf wasn't!). My personal favourite was Nairn, because I had not played there before, and the condition of the course combined with the view of the sea was quite stunning. The greens at Nairn were arguably the best I have ever played on. Royal Dornoch would be up there too, The four B&B's were first class, with friendly and helpful proprietors, excellent food, perfect locations, comfortable rooms and largely lovely outlooks. A large part of your value added is having someone who knows the establishments rather than trying to pick one off a website. I must add that the "Ryder Cup" at Panmure was a unique and excellent experience. The four gentlemen we played were incredibly welcoming, hospitable and friendly. It also gave my friends an idea of how match-play is played in Scotland - if you're not in the hole put it in your pocket! The Hill of Tarvit was also a fun experience.
Michael Raymond Canada - 2008
I am indeed home and almost recovered from our wonderful holiday. I can say that there was nothing negative to report about your organizing and communication. The accommodations were better than imagined . Your dealing with the broken car was perfect and the hangover you inflicted on us at Panmure was special. Brora, Prestwick and The Old Course are their own entities and Dornoch and Carnoustie are so beautiful and challenging. We thought these should be on any list.(The Old Course if it hadn't been played before). The Hill of Tarvit was a great break and would be enjoyed by any group. We have told our friends how lucky we were to have found you. Thank you for making this a holiday of a lifetime.Take care and enjoy your summer. Your son is on his way to being awonderful golfer and a nice man.
Bob West Canada - 2008
Peter and Fiona were great to deal with. They guided us through the planning process, and were accomodating to our changing plans. We especially appreciated Peter meeting us at hotel in St. Andrews, taking us to the practice facility and seeing us off on the first tee at the Old Course. We made the right decision to use Morton Golf Holidays and will recommend them to our golfing friends and others planning a trip to Scotland

It has been over a month since 7 of my golfing friends and I came back from a spectacular golf trip in Scotland and we are all still raving about it. Our itinerary included the great Open courses of Muirfield, Carnoustie, Turnberry and the Old Course at St. Andrews all made possible and arranged perfectly by Morton Golf. I have used other golf travel services but none compare to the excellent service we enjoyed from Morton Golf. Our trip was made easy by having a reserved van and dedicated driver who besides keeping us on schedule and being a wealth of Scottish knowledge could not have been more professional and friendly. Nothing quite compares to golf in Scotland and thanks to Morton Golf we all experienced it in the best way possible.
Many thanks to Peter and Fiona,
Craig Varrelman, Norwalk, Connecticut USA - 2008
Dear Peter and Fiona
We had the best trip to Ireland we possibly could have had. Everything was exactly as planned and everyone treated us well – in fact the whole trip was excellent. Our favourite golf courses were Old Head and Tralee and our driver John was absolutely terrific. The service provided by Morton Golf Holidays was A+ and we look forward to our next golf trip to either Scotland or Ireland.
Howard Hay, CA - 2007 - 2008
"The Morton Golf team made our dream a reality. We chose Morton based on cost (not the lowest but far from the highest) and great service (lots of insight shared regarding ways to improve our proposed trip). It was a real plus working with an organization based in Scotland.!
Our group was very interested in playing the Old Course and Muirfield. Peter demonstrated a thorough understanding of both the process and timing required to obtain tee times from these great courses. Morton delivered all of the courses we wanted to play and accommodations that exceeded our expectations. To top it off, our driver was just outstanding. Thanks to Morton Golf Holidays for the opportunity and golfing experience of a lifetime."
Scott Beatty, Scottsdale, Arizona
"There were four couples in our group (4 golfers and 4 non-golfers.) This effectively required two itineraries. Peter and Fiona were very responsive to our needs before and during our three week trip. The little extra touches, finding us Blair House a unique place to stay, arranging golf demonstrations and Fiona leading some shopping excursions. This was our fourth trip, the first with Peter and Fiona, and it was the best trip ever for us. The finishing touch of three days on the Isle of Skye was just superb. We intend to take more trips and we will use Peter and Fiona to arrange everything. They certainly spoiled us but how great it felt."

"During the past ten years, I have taken five trips to Scotland to play golf and to travel. Each trip was arranged through the auspices of Morton Golf. The early trips were to play the well known courses of Scotland but more recent trips have included courses that are mostly unknown to American golfers. These hidden gems have contributed greatly to my enjoyment of both the golf and the countryside of this beautiful country.
Peter and Fiona Craigon of Morton Golf Holidays can arrange for any level of trip to Scotland. From the best known golf courses and five star hotels to lesser known, yet equally exciting, golf courses and wonderful bed and breakfast accommodations; from car hire for individuals to providing transpiration for groups; from providing specific non golfing activities to offering suggestions for non-golfing activities, Peter and Fiona can, and will, accommodate all of the traveller's needs.
Through extended stays in Scotland, I have come to know them personally and will recommend, without any reservations, the services of Morton Golf to any wishing to plan a memorable golfing holiday to Scotland."

"For many years, Morton Golf has certainly provided our Swedish group with excellent service. Thanks to their ability to secure tee times on the Great Courses, we have had the opportunity to play both Muirfield and the Old Course many times."
Magnus Lange, Stockholm, Sweden
"My parents and I could not have had a better trip! The personal service that Morton Golf Holidays were extended was so well received that my parents insisted on taking a picture with our driver to ensure that we could continue to remember George and his stories of Scotland. The golf was fantastic! Thanks again for getting us confirmed tee-times on both the Old and New Course which we had only hoped that we would be able to play. It was all that we expected and more."

"Some friends that are part of my annual golf trip to a local resort asked me to join them in a once in a lifetime golfing excursion to Scotland. They sent me the information they had gathered regarding courses to play, accommodations, and cost. I reluctantly advised them that I felt I could vastly improve on their proposals.
I had no desire to assume the lead with this endeavour, but a friend had advised me to get to Scotland while I was young enough to enjoy the experience. He had made the trip twice and raved about the country, the golf, and efforts of Peter Craigon of Morton Golf to assemble the ultimate trip for his group on both occasions. As time was growing short to secure the arrangements, I immediately contacted the Morton Golf web site.
The response to my inquiry was immediate and complete. After receiving our expectations and hopes for the trip, Peter put together a package that I could present to my friends. They were impressed enough to sever ties with their planning group and asked that I finalize all details of the trip.
I had many correspondences with Peter during this process. He is pleasant, articulate, and professional. Each contact made me more comfortable and eager to get this outing underway. Our trip exceeded all expectations. I believe that Peter’s personal involvement was the reason for this. Morton Golf delivered on everything promised and provided amenities that would be difficult to find elsewhere.
I cannot find enough good things to say about the entire event. Morton Golf made it possible for myself, and three of my friends, to experience golf in Scotland as it was meant to be."

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip last summer (2006) to Scotland. I tried to plan the trip on my own,but became frustrated with the process. A friend of mine who had used your Company for their trip, suggested I do the same. Your attention to detail, the accommodations and suggestions for golf were perfect! The decision to use a chauffeur for the trip was the ideal solution for transportation. We enjoyed her company and her passion for all things Scottish was a treat.
I highly recommend Morton Golf to my friends who are planning a trip to the UK. We hope to see you soon, as we prepare to go to Ireland and the Highlands in 2008. Sincerely,
